In 2025, the Hyatt Regency Austin underwent a full renovation, including the launch of their new lakeside restaurant, Ripple & Roots. The Hyatt team invited me into the space during construction to help visualize the atmosphere guests would experience, set just off the iconic trail with views of downtown and Lady Bird Lake.

My role was to create a watercolor illustration that captured the restaurant’s warm, breezy, and modern Austin feel. The final artwork was designed as a custom postcard, presented with the check at the end of each meal, giving guests a small piece of the Ripple & Roots experience to take home.
